Cottage Cheese is also known under the name of Cream Cheese or Pot Cheese. Although, Cottage Cheese is the cheese of country dwellers, it is also produced for the consumption of city dwellers. Cottage cheese is made in many  counties, the most reputed are those of Devon, Sussex and Yorkshire. But others include Cambridge, Eskdale and Stailtres. Those of York and Cambridge are often coloured  green with spinach juice or sage.
