Androuet, the sole fromagerie awarded the EPV label
The EPV label, “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (Living Heritage Company), is a mark of recognition from the French State established to distinguish French companies with outstanding artisanal know-how.
Awarded after a rigorous audit, this label brings together companies committed to the high performance of their craft and their products. The Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label may “be awarded to any company that holds an economic heritage, composed in particular of rare, renowned or ancestral know-how, based on the mastery of traditional techniques or of high technical skill, and limited to a territory”.
It was introduced in May 2006 and has only recently been opened to the food trades.
This label was awarded to us by the Minister of the Economy.
