300g grated Cheddar 33cl beer 1 egg yolk 4 slices of baguette cut sideways salt and pepper
In a pan, add the beer at bring to boiling point. Add the grated Cheddar, melt the cheese. Add salt and pepper. Take off the heat and add the egg yolk, and mix well. Toast the slices of baguette. Preheat the grill.
Pour the Cheddar mixture into individual ramekins and put under the grill, keep on eye on them and grill for 1 minute. Serve immediately with the toasted slices of baguette.
