Dovedale is a blue cheese which comes from the Peak District in England. It takes its name from the name of the area where the river of Dove goes between Derbyshire and Staffordshire, this area is called Dovedale.
Dovedale Blue is a semi-soft cow’s milk cheese, produced uniquely in the village of Hartington in Derbyshire. It has a creamy texture and a light blue flavour. It is dipped in brine instead of being dry salted.
Dovedale benefits from an AOP (Appellation d’Origine Protegée),  Protected Designation of Origin.
